How reports are checked
Every Garrison FM report goes through the same checks before it reaches you.
- The site visit is carried out by a qualified, registered fire risk assessor.
- Housing is assessed to BS 9792:2025 and other premises to PAS 79-1:2020.
- A second senior assessor reviews the findings, risk rating and action plan before issue.
- The report names the assessor and the reviewing assessor, as the law has required since 1 October 2023.
- Scope limits are stated in the report: what was not inspected, and why.
- The report arrives within 5 working days of the visit.
